I am doing a blog on Omega Supreme. A huge Autobot guardian and he is equipped with a gravitational weapon that pulls stuff in and a powerful laser turrets. Plus he is the omega key that can open the omega gate which leads to Cybertrons core.

Literature Lessons

The boys assignment was to look at this picture and after we discussed it together, they were to pick an animal and write a story about it.  Joey's attention was in short supply for this assignment.


The Red Chicken

He lays eggs on robot minions.  His eggs have powers to blow up the robots and destroys them. Then he fights their leader.  The leader tried to make chicken fingers out of him.  But he got away.  He runs very fast. 

First paragraphs

****Background story.  We are working on various forms of recognizing grammar such as parts of speech, etc.  We are also learning about paragraphs.  I found this book at a Used book store and fell in love with it.  This is his first paragraph attempt from it.  Basically you are given questions and answer each one to create a paragraph.



Yow own an amusement park.....

What kind of park is it?  My amusement park will be large and will have roller coasters, water rides, and wild animals to see.  It is called Wild Water Safari Roller Coaster Park.

How much does it cost to enter?  It has to have a fair price.  I will ask $20.00 per person to visit my park.

What hours is the park open?  During the week, we will open at lunchtime and close at dark.  On Saturday and Sunday, we will be open from early morning until it is dark.

What is the best ride?  The best ride will be the Raptor Race which is a water roller coaster.  You will go up high and your car will drop into a big pool of water that is shaped like a dinosaur's mouth.

What is the best game to play?  There will be big prizes at alley ball and ring toss.

What is the best prize that someone can win?  The best prize will be to win a ride on a zebra in the Wild Animal park.  They can also win big stuffed animals and funnel cakes.

What is your job at the amusement park?  I will be the manager and tour guide for the park.

Storms and volcanoes and Cars 2

Last night I finished building up the Von Nebula that I earned the money to buy from Ben Franklin in Bowling Green.  I found it when mom was shopping for rocks this past week.  I earned the money from Grandpa and Grandma for earning medals at the Agility Angels competition last weekend.  It had a lot of pieces and took me a few days to finish it. 



Yesterday we went to see Cars 2.  My favorite part was when Fransico yelled, "What is going on?!"  Mater turning into a taco truck was pretty funny too.  We had a couple bad thunderstorms and they knocked out our power for a few hours.  We camped in the van for a few hours because dad couldn't get the generator started.

This week we are going to build a volcano to finish our volcano unit.  Last week during science we got to feel real volcanic ash from a volcano in Iceland.  It was very smooth and dusty.  We also felt quartz and several other rocks. 

We planted our Chia Shrek heads and made a dough map of the Nile River. 

Who I am.

On Saturday I got to compete in my first Agility Competition.  I earned two ribbons.

Let me tell you about who I am. 

My name is Joey, and I'm 11 years old.  I live with my parents, my brother and 2 sisters.  We have a pet guinea pig, 3 cats and a bearded dragon. 

I like to play my DS and I like to build with LEGOS.  I also like riding my bike and playing Pokemon.

One of my favorite places is Cedar Point and Soak City.  I also like Kalahari Water park.  I really wish there was a place left with a ball pit I could play in.
